InstallationMasters™  Since 2001, Crystal been conducting the InstallationMasters™ Training and Certification Program to provide installation companies with high quality training for "best practices" in installation techniques for both commercial and residential product portfolios. InstallationMasters™, prompted by the Building Environment and Thermal Envelope Council (BETEC) through the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and development by the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA), is a nationwide training and certification program for new construction and replacement installers of windows and exterior glass doors in the residential and light commercial markets. The program is designed to teach installers the best practices and installation techniques based on established industry standards. It provides an assurance that the installer has been trained and has passed the written test. Across the nation, the InstallationMasters™ window and door installation training and certification program) is increasingly viewed as the standard for professionalism with residential and commercial fenestration contractor personnel. The 1-½ day course covers basic aspects of quality window and door installations with particular emphasis on the control of water penetration. Upon passing an optional ½ day test session, participants will receive an Installation Masters™ certificate, certifying that they have completed the Installations Masters™ national program. The "InstallationMasters™" training and test administration can only be conducted by accredited instructors who have completed a 2-day training and passed the instructor exam.
