Crystal Windows Executive Honored by Business Group
Asian-American Business Development Center Recognizes Top Business Leaders

Crystal Window & Door Systems is pleased to announce that its Director of Overseas Development, James Hu, was honored by the Asian-American Business Development Center (AABDC) as one of the 2006 “Outstanding 50 Asian-Americans in Business.” This prestigious award recognizes Asian-American businessmen and women who have made a difference in corporate America and highlights the contributions of Asian-Americans and Asian-American businesses to the economy.

As Director of Overseas Development for Crystal Windows, Mr. Hu is responsible for the establishment of joint venture operations in China to serve the domestic Chinese construction markets. “I am honored to receive this award, but credit must also be given to Crystal management and staff which has shown the foresight and fortitude to expand into the Chinese market,” said Mr. Hu. “Through hard work and innovative practices, just as it has done in the USA, Crystal is establishing itself as a premier window and door company abroad.”

Mr. Hu is a resident of Syosset, Long Island, New York. He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont. He continued his education receiving an MBA in Management from Dowling College, Oakdale, NY. In 1995, he joined Crystal Window & Door Systems of New York, where his management and engineering skills were immediately put to use. He has been the driving force behind the start-up and successful operation of several lines of business in the USA for Crystal Window & Door Systems, including fiberglass door fabrication, aluminum extrusion and aluminum powder coat paint finishing.

The AABDC Awards Gala was held at the New York Hilton in Manhattan on June 16, 2006. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton was the keynote speaker and Ms. Vivian Lee of WNBC News-Channel 4 served as Mistress of Ceremonies for the event. Honorees represent a very diverse group of Asian-Americans, from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Thai, Cambodian, Filipino and other communities.
